Generac requires maintenance every 100 hours of run time or once per year, whichever comes first, by a licensed Generac dealer to maintain warranty coverage.

Drain and replace the generator’s engine oil
Replace the engine oil filter
Basic visual inspection of the unit for signs of wear or damage
Check oil level and ensure proper operation post service
